Police solicit robust synergy among security agencies in Imo state to curb crime (PHOTOS)

The new Commissioner of Police, Imo State, CP Chris Okey Ezike has solicited for a more robust synergy among security agencies in the state to stem the tide of criminal activities.

The Commissioner of Police made the call during his courtesy visits to sister security agencies in the state.

CP noted that relationship among sister security agencies has been an age long tradition but added that there is the need to harness the relationship to foster effective and efficient service delivery to the people to ensure a safe and secured society. 

He identified cultism as the bane of security challenges and called for all hands to be on deck to put a stop to the unholy activities of cultists in the state.

CP Chris Ezike stated that he will welcome any cultist willing to renounce his membership with open arms while those who still indulge in cult related activities will not be spared. This the CP referred to as “Carrot and Stick approach’.

The Commissioner of Police has so far visited the Directorate of State Security Service, the Nigerian Air force, the Nigerian Prisons Service and the Nigerian Immigration Service. The visit to other security agencies continues.
